Daily Fantasy Baseball Fix

Today I will be playing the Daily Dollar (great for beginners) If you are new to @DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball, you can claim your Deposit Bonus here!

Like yesterday, quite a few games contain 50 percent chance of rain (scattered thunder-storms). These games are: BOS @ BAL,  NYM @ WSH, and TB @ NYY.

Despite the Rangers vs. Indians game, that I refused to take any risks with, ending up being a great one to start pitchers in, I will continue to be risk averse and try my best to avoid players in games with 50 percent rain chances.

My strategy of superb pitching and picking on Raul Valdes of the Phillies, worked brilliantly yesterday. Expect more of the same strategy today, as I finished in the top five despite what may have looked like a brutal lineup. Bumgarner and Sale were both lights out, and Tuiasosopo was incredibly good, as was Victor Martinez.

Here is my team:

Pitcher: Jose Fernandez | MIA | vs. PIT | $7,800:

Pitcher: Matt Moore | TB | @ NYY | $9,400:

Catcher: Tyler Flowers | CWS | vs. KC | $4,300

First Base; Brandon Moss | OAK | vs. LAA | $4,000

Second Base: Brandon Phillips | CIN | @ LAD | $4,300

Third Base: Junior Lake | CHC | @ SF | $2,700

Shortstop: J.J. Hardy | BAL | vs. BOS | $4,100

Outfield: Matt Joyce | TB | @ NYY | $4,200

Outfield: Dayan Viciedo | CWS | vs. KC | $4,200

Outfield: Chris Denorfia | SD | @ ARI | $4,800

I’m extremely confident in this team I’ve put together. There are a great amount of favorable matchups for all this power hitting/platoon advantage hitters.

Joyce faces the Human Home Run Torch Phil Hughes, Denorfia faces Patrick Corbin who he has three home runs off of, Phillips faces Chris Capuano – a lefty who Phillips has amazing success against, Moss faces the other human home run torch Tommy Hanson, Viciedo and Flowers face Bruce Chen, Lake faces Tim Stinkcecum, and Hardy faces Jon Lester who he owns.

Other good pitching options include Corbin, Shelby Miller, Gerrit Cole, and Todd Redmond. Also, Carlos Torres is a good cheap option – he has excellent strikeout to walk numbers but he isn’t liable to go deep into the game.
