2014 Fantasy Baseball Daily Fix: June 11

Welcome to another edition of the Daily Fix. Draftstreet has been a terrific platform for daily competition and they have some really good deals if you want to join now. There are tons of different games to play for various amounts of dough. Personally, I keep it pretty simple with the two dollar double up competitions. I use the 100,000 dollar salary cap because you can build your lineup in minutes.

If you want some higher stakes, they are offering a competition where the winner could earn up to a 1,000,000 dollars. So, pick your poison and suit up. I like the cheaper competitions because it allows me to play another day when things go wrong. No matter how well you may plan things, sometimes it won’t go as you plan. That is the beauty of daily fantasy sports. Whether you are an expert or just a beginner, you have a fairly equal chance of winning.

In order to win these double up challenges, the key is to play the longer odds whenever you can. So, you try to even out your money to as many different positions as possible and exploit favorable matchups whenever you can. As always, I will offer some reasonable alternatives in case you have to make some last minute changes.

Eric Bedard is a LHP. Kolten Wong will not be starting tonight against Eric Bedard.
