Cargo/latos for lee/Joyce/morse. H2h10 team I’m trying to upgrade my OF or cuddyer instead of say Joyce

I would hang onto Cargo and Latos. Lee may be a bit better than Latos ROS, but not enough to warrant the upgrade. Cargo is too good to trade for Joyce and Morse. They are solid hitters, but you are in a 10 team league. There should be other options out there. If not, I still wouldn’t do this deal. In a head to head league, it is nice having a combo guy like Cargo who can steal you bases and hit bombs. Not to mention all the other stats he fills. Joyce and Morse won’t add up to what Cargo and the other OF you have give you every week. Especially if you count BA.

Which of these players do you see increasing/decreasing in value?

    Prado
    Andrus
    Rollins
    Brown
    Desmond
    T. Hunter
    Crisp

    Thanks!

It depends on the league, but I always find it difficult to trade guys like Rollins for the value I’m looking for. Desmond is young enough, and has shown enough early on that his value should be pretty high. Especially in keeper leagues where he could have a low price tag or low round value.

You may find someone who used to love brown as a prospect and now wants in. I think the power is legit, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he got to 35 homers and 15 steals. But, you may be able to get help in a lot of areas if you trade him now. There also may be a point where the league adjusts to the new Brown, and so he may have to readjust. I would see if I can get some real nice building blocks in a keeper/dynasty league. That is if only someone buys in to him so much that they will overpay. In most normal situations, you probably won’t receive good enough offers to pull the trigger. In most situations, just enjoy the ride (and if it doesn’t last, it didn’t cost you anything anyway).

As for the others, they would be much more like Rollins. They really are what they are, and people would only deal for them based on need, such as MI help, or steals. I happen to like to make these smaller deals because sometimes you can get a undervalued piece while not giving up anything significant from your own team.
