Exclusive Daily Fantasy Contest: $1 to win $100,000 On May 8th!

This coming Wednesday, The Fantasy Fix and DraftKings are partnering up to offer you a chance to win tickets to one of DraftKings largest events ever! The top 2 winners of the tournament will receive tickets (free entry) to a larger event on 5/17 and the 3rd place finisher will receive a subscription to the Fantasy Fix’s Front Office package!

Spending one dollar on a chance to get access to The Front Office package is reason enough to join. In addition to receiving this years Fantasy Baseball draft guide, you get On call personalized roster/lineup support via our “Quick Fix,” which gives you speedy roster/lineup help, trade advice and sit/start recommendations for your fantasy sports teams. If you play fantasy football as well, the Front Office subscription runs all the way through the NFL season!

This contest has only 10 entrants, which means that you have a 30% of finishing with a profit and a 20% chance of punching your ticket to the BIG tournament on DraftKings. Honestly, isn’t a better deal out there on the DFS circuit. You don’t have to fade a huge tournament pool, all you have to do is beat 7 guys! Compare that to 200 person GPP’s or the limited earning potential of Double Up’s and 50/50’s and this is a damn sweet deal. In order to help you guys make some profit, here are 5 value plays to help you win some money.

Value Plays:

Ben Zobrist– Zobrist is scheduled to go against Ricky Romero of the Toronto Blue Jay’s who was one of the worst pitchers in the major leagues last year. For his career, Zobrist is 9-30 against Romero with 2 homeruns and 5 walks. It really doesn’t get better than that with large sample size Batter versus Pitcher data, making Zobrist a versatile and solid play on Wednesday.

Carlos Pena– If you want cheap, it doesn’t get cheaper than Pena. He faces off against Joe Blanton, who is the definition of mediocre and he is 5 for 10 against Blanton in his career. Solid, cheap play.

Omar Infante– Way less expensive than he should be. Infante plays for an explosive offense which creates run and RBI potential and faces off against Dan Haren. Despite Haren’s strong showing in his last outing, he is still an older, ailing pitcher facing a high powered lineup.

Lance Berkman– Just like season-long leagues, first base is a place to save money in DFS. Berkman is an elite option who is priced in the middle tier and he is a verifed Kyle Lohse killer. He has 4 homeruns in 31 at bats and 6 walks.

We’ll add a few more value plays as we get closer to the contest.
