Friday is upon us and not only are we thankful that the week is over, the fantasy NBA gods have given us 13 games to pick from tonight! The options on a night like tonight feel limitless and to a certain extent they are. Let’s get back to it by breaking it down by position. These are the players I really like tonight.

Point Guard

Kyrie Irving is a guy I rarely play, but right now he’s playing great basketball and he has a great matchup. Against the Bucks this season, he had two monster games and because of that he’s averaging 34/4/7 against them. That is not a typo. Irving is averaging 53.5 fantasy points against the Bucks. In those two games, Irving did a ton of damage shooting. Well, in his last five games he’s shooting 44% from the field and from three. As long as he keeps averaging almost 20 shots a game then I think he’ll be worth his $8,100 price on DraftKings.

Victor Oladipo is priced at $5,900, which is a price I can really dig against the Lakers. His matchup against players like Marshall and Meeks is great and hopefully we’ll l see Oladipo take 12+ shots tonight. He’s averaging almost 4 fantasy points more at home and is averaging 36 in his last six games.

Shooting Guard

You can’t go wrong at shooting guard with Rodney Stuckey. Yes, he comes off the bench, but he still has managed to play 30 minutes over his last four games. Earlier in the season, Stuckey went for 22/4/4 against the Pelicans and he should see similar numbers tonight with the way he has been shooting. I really like his price of $4,600 on DraftKings right now. You have to use a few 4k options today and he’s one of my favorite as of now.

Marco Belinelli has played 30+ minutes in four of his last five games and it’s not going to get lower with the injuries that are piling up in San Antonio. Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green are out for this one and although Belinelli doesn’t play the 3, I’m guessing they’ll make sure to keep him in for 35 minutes tonight against the Hawks. Against these Hawks, he’s likely to see Kyle Korver defending him, which is always a plus. He has gone for 20+ fantasy points in eight straight games, so for $4,100 he is a very low risk option.

Small Forward

DeMar DeRozan or as I call him DeBeasting DeBeasting, has been great in his last six games. He scored 40 real points in his last game shooting 22 times, so he’s red hot from the field right now. You can’t give him a better matchup tonight when he goes up against the 76ers. He’s averaging 30 points and 42 fantasy points against them on the season. We all know about their terrible defense and fast pace, so don’t over think this one.

Carmelo Anthony is going to be in play just about every game until the Knicks get some of their injured players back. In his last six games, Anthony is averaging 49 fantasy points per game and a juicy double double. 26/11/3 is a great stat line over that time and makes for another safe option for his high price. Barring injury ejection, I really can’t see how he would go for less than 45 fantasy points tonight at least.

Power Forward

David Lee is a great option tonight as long as he starts. He’s battling an injury, but his recent performances and price make him a solid option as long as we know his status before lineups lock. He’s only $7,600 on DraftKings, but is averaging 37 fantasy points in his last four games and 47 fantasy points against Minnesota in their one game this season. Lee has scored 20 real points in three of his last four games.

I’m not happy about it, but Kris Humphries consistently finds his way into this column every day it feels like. He’s getting starter minutes with the Celtics and remains a 4k option. There’s not a whole lot wrong with that when he’s hitting value in his last three games. His last three fantasy points totals are 30, 35, and 38. The Thunder aren’t the best of matchups, but if you’re in the need of a 4k power forward then this is who I would look at.

Center

Anderson Varejao gets a monster matchup tonight against the Bucks and he’ll be in my lineups almost guaranteed. The guy is a rebounding machine right now putting up double digit boards in nine of his last ten and averaging 16 per game in his last five. Because he is adding points and assists, Varejao is averaging 45 fantasy points in those games. Until he hits 7.5k, I don’t see myself getting off the Varejao train any time soon.

Pau Gasol gets the juicy Magic matchup tonight and he should fully take advantage of it. Gasol has been great lately averaging 22/12/3 in his last six and that shouldn’t change when he faces off against the Magic. They simply don’t have the depth or talent to slow down Gasol. He has scored 20+ real points in six straight games and is routinely taking 15 or more shots.
