SP/RP- NATE EOVALDI (LOS ANGELES DODGERS)  Nate has pitched lights out in his two starts since being called up from AA Chattanooga where he was 6-5 with a 2.62 E.R.A. In his 11 innings of work for the big club he is 1-0 with 10 K's and a 1.65 E.R.A. The Dodgers say they will give him about 35 innings of work before he is relegated to the bullpen so he still has some time to help you get to the playoffs. Next week he is scheduled to be a two start pitcher. I recommend grabbing him if you need a solid two-start hurler next week.

SP- CORY LUEBKE (SAN DIEGO)  The 6'4" lefty has been pitching very well for the Padres sporting a 4-6 record, 3.08 E.R.A., 0.98 WHIP while averaging over a strike out per inning in his 93 innings of work. If you are looking for wins then he is not your man because the Padres do not score runs for him. Definitely worth an add in roto leagues or head to head leagues when the matchup is right.

SP- IVAN NOVA (NEW YORK YANKEES) I am not sure what happened to Nova at AAA Scranton, but since his recall from the minors he sports a 3-0 record and a 2.61 E.R.A while holding hitters to under a .230 batting average. For the season he is 11-4 and owns a 3.84 E.R.A and is the number one added free agent in CBS leagues. A good finish and Michael Pineda’s struggles just might give Ivan a chance for Rookie of the Year honors in the American League. He looks to definitely be one of the Yankees five main starters so grab him while he is hot!

1B- MIKE CARP (SEATTLE) Carp is on fire for the Mariners right now as he has hit in 15 straight games and 22 of his last 24. In those 15 games he is hitting .377 with four round trippers and 18 RBI. His season totals show a .326 BA with six home runs and 26 RBI. Carp is another case of a player you need to add while the getting is good. Head to head league games are won by savvy owners who pick up guys at the right time. Grab him before it is too late.

2B- JOHNNY GIAVOTELLA (KANSAS CITY) What is not to love about the 5'8" spark plug who is living the dream since his call up to the big club from AAA Omaha. Johnny has great minor league numbers and has shown some promise so far for the Royals. He is currently hitting .333 in 42 AB's with a home run and four stolen bases. The G-man isn't quite as sexy as Brett Lawrie, Dustin Ackley, Danny Espinosa and some of other rookie second sacker rookies but can help you in a few categories.

OF- JOSE CONSTANZA (ATLANTA) Besides causing quite a stir for licking his bat in a game against the Mets, Jose has helped ignite the Braves offense hitting .428 in the last two weeks with two home runs and five stolen bases. Hard to say if the 27 year old career minor leaguer is here to stay but once again it is hard to ignore the numbers he can give you. If you need help in the OF pick him up and ride the hot streak.

BRYCE HARPER WATCHBryce continues his learning curve at the AA level. In 35 games he shows a .256/3/12 line with seven stolen bases.
