For the most part, Brett and Alan are on the same page with their quarterback rankings. Matthew Stafford and his potential high-powered Lions offense looks to have an excellent matchup against the Redskins who are the only defense to allow an average of 30 fantasy points or more to opposing signal-callers through two weeks. Further down into the top-ten, Brett appears to be a bit more bullish than Alan on Cam Newton, who faces a Giants defense currently serving up about 18 fantasy points per week to opposing quarterbacks.

Again, the two feel seem to agree that week three is pretty full of tough matchups for ball carriers. Doug Martin lands in the number one spot, facing a Patriots rush defense allowing an average of more than 100 yards and 22 fantasy points per week to opposing rushers. Alan’s ranking of Reggie Bush leads us to believe he feels Bush will be on the field this weekend, while Brett is playing it safe.

Many pass catchers have friendly matchups in week three. You won’t see much of a different in Brett and Alan’s rankings until you reach Anquan Boldin. Brett feel Boldin is a top ten option this week against a Colts defense allowing an average of 35 points per week to opposing pass catcher. Alan thinks Boldin is still a top 20 option.

The fellas agree that Jimmy Graham and Tony Gonzalez are the top two options from the tight end position in week three. The Seahawks are the unanimous choice for top defense and Matt Prater holds the top spot among kickers.

Just wondering why Eddie Royal did not even make the rankings? I know all the TDs have been a surprise but just wondering where he would fit in or thoughts on him?

I had Eddie ranked at 47. Guessing Alan isn’t buying him and didn’t rank him so he didn’t show up when we averaged our rankings.

    NFFC Classic questions:
I need to start three of these receivers:
Roddy White, Brian Hartline, Lance Moore, Aaron Dobson, Mohamed Sanu, Santana Moss
    Which three should I start?

I was going to play Ryan Mathews at my flex option this week. Should I start a fourth receiver instead? It would need to be one of the above receivers.
