As many of you might already know from the feature piece I wrote a few weeks back on Allen Craig, I've got a serious man crush on this guy.  In just the third game back from the DL Craig went 2-for-3 from the plate and knocked one out of the park, along with three RBI.  With Berkman out long term check again in all of your leagues to see if Craig was dropped during his brief DL stint.

Mike Moustakas continued his impressive start to the season in a Royals loss to the Twins. Mous went 3-for-4 from the plate and tagged his ninth homer of the season, along with knocking in two runs and scoring three himself.

Jarrod Parker had his best start of his young career against the Rangers of all teams on Monday night.  Parker tossed 8.0 innings of zero earned run ball.  He lost a no hit bid in the 8th inning and struck out six along the way.  Parker might not be primed to be a must own starter this year but this was a little glimpse of what we're in for in the future.

Speaking of rookies, the Angels Mike Trout just continues to mash the ball.  Trout went 4-for-4 from the plate in a loss to the Mariners and drove in two runs.  The youngster is now hitting .338 on the season and shows no signs of slowing down.

Ervin Santana got roughed up yet again in that same Angel's loss.  Santana gave up seven earned runs over just 4.2 innings of work.  Worst of all he walked six batters on top of eight hits, sending his WHIP all the way to 1.44 on the season and his ERA to a whopping 5.33.

Christian Friedrich of the Rockies hasn't looked pretty at times but then there's nights like Monday when he simply looks dominant.  Friedrich tossed 7.0 innings of no run ball and scattered just four hits and two walks over the frames, along side four K's.  Friedrich has been hit or miss so far, after a stellar two starts he was bombed in three straight before recovering with tonight's gem.

The handshakes of the night were recorded by; Jason Motte (9), Matt Capps (13), Jeremy Affeldt (1), Tom Wilhelmsen (1), and Kenley Jensen (7).

Matchup of the Day: Derek Holland has fallen far from pre season sleeper.  After he got absolutely bombed by the Mariners last week chances are his ownership fell a little in your leagues.  But he takes the mound tonight against the Athletics and the matchup actually looks pretty good.  For your streaming delight Holland in the past two years has a 1.16 ERA and 1.01 WHIP against the A's.  You might be weary after the last start but this is the ultimate stream.
