NHL 2017-2018 Fantasy Hockey Rankings

Welcome to another year of fantasy hockey! If you’re like me, you’ve waited all summer for this. Sure you’ve been following baseball, keeping up with NHL draft/free agency, and asking yourself if you can afford a trip to watch your favourite team play in Las Vegas! (Ok, maybe that last one is just me).

With the start of NHL camps underway, it means it’s also time to start planning for your upcoming fantasy draft(s).

Below is a list of the top 200 players that will help you win your pool. All you have to do is find the right combination of forwards, defencemen, and goalies. Here are some things to remember when using the rankings:

1- Standard H2H (head-to-head) scoring was used to calculate these projections.

2- the plus-minus (+/-) stat was excluded from my model. If you’re league is still using that #MeaninglessStat, it’s time to update your league settings.

3- Goalies were ranked based on the following categories: W, GAA, SV%, Sv, SO. If your league calculates Losses (L) or deducts points for a loss, adjust accordingly.

4-Players who become injured or risk not starting the season will be highlighted in red. This will be updated as we approach the start of the season

5- Carey Price is still the GOAT

Happy fantasy season everyone!
