Quarterbacks

Carson Palmer – ARZ
Injury – Shoulder
Palmer is currently dealing with a nerve issue in his shoulder that forced him to miss the last two games. He is officially listed as day-to-day, but with injuries like this one it is very hard to gauge how his nerves will respond to his rehabbing. He is very iffy for Week 4. Drew Stanton would once again start in his place if he cannot go. When suffering injuries, a personal injury attorney may be appropriate to contact if legal precautions are needed to be taken, you can contact a professional to help get the best remedy possible. Sports players tend to suffer injuries all of the time, this is why the Quirk Law Group are here to help!

Matt Cassel – MIN
Injury – Foot
Cassel has several fractured bones in his foot and will be out an extended period of time. Rookie Teddy Bridgewater will take over as the starting QB.

Shaun Hill – STL
Injury – Quad
Hill was active for yesterday’s game, however earlier in the week Austin Davis was named the starter. Hill is probable for Week 5. We will have to wait and see if Davis was the starter due to a team decision on performance or injury.

Josh McCown – TB
Injury – Thumb
McCown is expected to miss next week’s game with a badly sprained thumb. Mike Glennon will be the starter. Don’t be surprised if McCown does not get his job back.

Running Backs

Bernard Pierce – BAL
Injury – Thigh
Pierce missed Sunday’s game and is day-to-day with a short-term muscular injury. His status for next week will become clearer later in the week. Even when he returns, Lorenzo Taliaferro appears to be the best back on the team.

Mike Tolbert – CAR
Injury – Leg
Tolbert suffered a stress fracture in his left leg and will likely miss an extended period of time.

Jonathan Stewart – CAR
Injury – Knee
Stewart is dealing with a severely sprained right knee and the Panthers are waiting on an MRI. He has not been officially ruled out, however I wouldn’t count on him taking the field anytime soon.

DeAngelo Williams – CAR
Injury – Thigh
Williams was forced to miss the last two games and could miss another. He is day-to-day with a thigh injury. With all their other RBs injured, the Panthers really need Williams to get healthy.

Arian Foster – HOU
Injury – Hamstring
Foster missed Sunday’s game with an injured hammy and does not know when the injury will allow him to play again. He is day-to-day but seems very questionable for next week. Alfred Blue appears to be next in line in Houston.

Jamaal Charles – KC
Injury – Ankle
This story has really been all over the place. He may have a high ankle sprain or may just have a bruised ankle. The Chiefs are heading in to their bye week, so we will update you next week. Knile Davis and Joe McKnight played very well last week in Miami.

Maurice Jones-Drew – OAK
Injury – Hand
Jones-Drew was forced to miss another game this week. He is day-to-day and is questionable to return next week against the Dolphins in London. Darren McFadden has played pretty well in his absence.

Danny Woodhead – SD
Injury – Leg
Woodhead’s season is over. He suffered a severe high ankle sprain and broken fibula. This leaves Donald Brown to carry a heavy workload for the next month while Ryan Matthews is sidelined. Branden Oliver appears to be next in line behind Brown.

Doug Martin – TB
Injury – Knee
Martin missed another game this week. He practiced Monday and is looking more likely to return next week. Needless to say, monitor his status throughout the week. When he returns he could be in a timeshare with Bobby Rainey.

Wide Receivers

Roddy White – ATL
Injury – Hamstring
Roddy White would have been able to go Week 3 had the game been played on Sunday.

Harry Douglas – ATL
Injury – Foot
Tests on Douglas’ foot camp back negative. He’s questionable for Week 4.

Jerricho Cotchery – CAR
Injury – Thigh
Cotchery missed Sunday’s game with a thigh issue and is listed as day-to-day. Monitor his status heading in to next week.

Brandon Marshall – CHI
Injury – Ankle
Marshall was active for Monday night’s game.

Alshon Jeffery – CHI
Injury – Hamstring
Jeffery was active for Monday night’s game.

Marvin Jones – CIN
Injury – Foot
Jones is set to return to practice this week and could return after the team’s Week 4 bye.

T.Y. Hilton – IND
Injury – Ankle
Hilton was forced out of Sunday’s game with a sprained ankle and was not able to return. It is not believed to be too severe, however he is questionable for next week.

Marqise Lee – JAX
Injury – Hamstring
Lee missed Sunday’s game and is questionable for next week. Monitor his status heading in to next week.

Eric Decker – NYJ
Injury – Hamstring
Decker was active for Monday night’s game, but he did not finish the first half. He’s questionable for Week 4.

Rod Streater – OAK
Injury – Foot
Streater has a fractured foot and will be out for the foreseeable future.

Josh Huff – PHI
Injury – Shoulder
Huff was once again inactive this past week. He is day-to-day and hopes to return to the team as soon as possible.

Tavon Austin – STL
Injury – Knee
Austin missed Sunday’s game and is currently listed as day-to-day. The Rams are hopeful he can return after the team’s bye week.

Vincent Jackson – TB
Injury – Wrist
Jackson is reportedly playing through a small wrist fracture. He practiced as normal Monday with his wrist wrapped. He is officially listed as questionable.

Tight Ends

Rob Housler – ARZ
Injury – Hip
Housler missed Sunday’s game and is listed as day-to-day. He has already been relegated to backup duty.

Dennis Pitta – BAL
Injury – Hip
Pitta suffered a dislocated and possible fractured hip Sunday. He went through with season ending surgery and will not play again this year. Owen Daniels will take over as the starter and is a very strong waiver wire add this week.

Clay Harbor – JAX
Injury – Calf
Harbor is listed as day-to-day with a calf injury. He is currently starting for injured TE Marcedes Lewis.

Kyle Rudolph – MIN
Injury – Groin
Rudolph is expected to miss about six weeks after having surgery for a groin injury.

Vernon Davis – SF
Injury – Ankle
Davis missed Sunday’s game but coach Harbaugh is “very hopeful” that Davis will play against the Eagles on Sunday.

Vance McDonald – SF
Injury – Knee
McDonald was inactive this week and is currently listed as day-to-day.

Delanie Walker – TENN
Injury – Shoulder
Walker is dealing with a shoulder injury and is questionable for next week’s game.

Jordan Reed
Injury – Hamstring
Reed continues to deal with a hamstring issue and is once again questionable heading in to next week. Niles Paul has filled in admirably while Reed has been out. He may very well have earned himself a role in a two-TE system once Reed returns.

On Jamaal Charles section, “The Chiefs are heading in to their bye week, so we will update you next week.”. Chiefs bye week is week 6. And any update here for a Knile Davis owner would be appreciated :).

that was my mistake, I will update you on Charles soon. The Chiefs plan on pushing him hard in practice today to see how his ankle responds. I’d be shocked if he was a full go even if he’s active.
