2019 FANTASY FOOTBALL RANKINGS: WEEK THIRTEEN
The day we are freed from our daily grinds as we stuff ourselves like vikings right before going into battle is on the horizon. Drinking mead, carving pheasants, hanging with family and friends and giving thanks are on the docket. I would like to start off by thanking Alan Harrison and TheFantasyFix.com. I wouldn’t be bringing you this raw, unadulterated content to win your Fantasy Crown and enlighten you on all things in life if it wasn’t for the opportunity that Alan presented me. There are many things on this rock that I cherish. Music, food, cultivating peppers, a good hoppy IPA, collecting memorabilia, the ones close to my heart, coaching young athletes and SPORTS. With sports comes my love for fantasy baseball and football. I am so thankful to be able to offer insight to everyone who might need it while constructing their imaginary band of gang members who claim control of our lives during season. Thanks to you all for reading my column and hopefully coming back for more as you enjoy the content. I am doing this for you, so go win the prize! Make sure you give praise to the ones that make you who you are. Be good to each other and try to stain this world with a part of your soul.
Be prepared is a huge motto for this week, both in fantasy and in the kitchen. Thursday brings us three games on the slate as well as two turkeys I must dress up properly for their trip down our gullets and into the gut. The production that takes place the evening before is almost as stressful as game day. Getting those birds ready for their adventure into the oven and the Traeger takes a lot out of you. Mix in the fact that I have rankings to develop and brews to swill shows that the preparation made it all happen. Make or break time is upon us so I hope you are ready and prepared for battle. Use your bench space to conjure up the best posse of misfits to spoil your opponents chances. If you are fighting for playoff life, this week is all that matters. Do everything in your power to slide on into the tourney and punch your ticket. If you are already into the contest, make sure you are looking ahead. Many of our fantasy pulses will be determined soon and it has been a pleasure serving you. Hopefully we all get to hang out again next week, as that only means one thing. GO WIN and thank you!
Here are some ‘sneaks‘ I have my eye on.
QB – Nick Foles (JAC)
Ownership: 23% ESPN, 33% Yahoo
Week 12: 32/48 for 272 yards.
Back to back weeks Nick has chucked the ball up over 47 times. He gets to face the lowly Buccaneers defense who have given up the second most touchdowns, passing yards per game and allow opposing QB’s to score an average of 25 points per game. His top four weapons (Fournette, Chark, Westbrook and Conley) have the ability to get free on any play. Will finish as a top 12 QB this week. DraftKings $5,700
RB – Darrel Williams (KC)
Ownership: 5% ESPN, 6% Yahoo
Week 12 was on a bye
Damien Williams exited the game before KC’s bye week and DW2 came in and rushed 11 times for 35 yards and a touchdown, he also caught two of three targets for eight yards. The Chiefs are staying quiet on the availability of Damien Williams. On Tuesday, they signed the former Jets running back Elijah McGuire to their practice squad. If Damien was to sit, I would start Darrel with confidence. If they are both active, it is not a situation I want to trust in a crucial week but a good dart throw on DFS. DraftKings $4,400
WR – N’Keal Harry (NE)
Ownership: 11% ESPN, 14% Yahoo
Week 12 Snap Percentage: 81%
Week 12: He reeled in one catch out of four targets but it was a 10 yard touchdown.
Bill Belichick has only drafted one wide receiver with his first pick, that was the Sun Devil receiver who lines up opposite of Julian Edelman. Houston will focus to shut down Edelman. I expect Sanu to sit again to get his ankle right. Make it two weeks in a row that Harry finds pay dirt. DraftKings $4,000
WR – Dede Westbrook (JAC)
Ownership: 59% ESPN, 62% Yahoo
Week 12 Snap Percentage: 86%
Week 12: Hauled in eight of nine targets for 69 yards.
I highlighted earlier that the Buccaneers aren’t very good at stopping the pass, downright pathetic. I feel that the Westbrook, Foles stack will be a very productive one in Week 13. Dede will get into the end zone for his second TD of the year, the other was Week One. There was lots of preseason hype on these two, I am buying it for this week. Tampa Bay will have their hands full with Chark which will free up Dede for one long connection with Nick. DraftKings $5,000
WR – JJ Arcega-Whiteside (PHI)
Ownership: 1% ESPN, 1% Yahoo
Week 12 Snap Percentage: 71%
Week 12: Caught two of five targets for 43 yards.
Eagles released Jordan Matthews which can mean either they like what they saw from JJ Week 12 or that Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor are trending in the right direction. If one of those two guys cannot go, JJ would get the Dolphins who are tied for first with 18 touchdowns allowed to receivers. DraftKings $3,200
TE – Jack Doyle (IND)
Ownership: 44% ESPN, 33% Yahoo
Week 12 Snap Percentage: 69%
Week 12: Snagged three of four targets for 28 yards.
Fellow tight end Eric Ebron has been placed on injured reserve. TY Hilton is still nursing a calf and Marlon Mack will miss Week 13 while he recovers from hand surgery. That leaves Zach Pascal, Chester Rogers and Marcus Johnson as Brissett’s receiver options. Ebron received an average of 5+ targets per game. Doyle will get those and more. DraftKings $3,300

Have a wonderful Turkey Day and you better come see me next week. I will be here, will you? Be prepared and give thanks to all who deserve it. Alan and my consensus ranks are below.
Good luck to all!
