Big Games:
New York Islanders @ Tampa Bay Lightning
All systems go for a perfect TB Powerplay #1 stack. Steven Stamkos (despite hefty 17k price), Valtteri Filppula, Victor Hedman, and Ryan Callahan are excellent plays for a stack.
Also, Sami Salo if you would rather not pay top dollar for Hedman, is a great pick! Chris Rooney will be refereeing this game and he calls the most penalties in the league. The Lightning powerplay is great and the Islanders are terrible. Load up.
Buffalo Sabres @ Nashville Predators
Shea Weber, more Shea Weber, and more Shea Weber. ALL OF THE SHEA WEBER. He should be on the ice a ton against Buffalo’s top line of Tyler Ennis – Drew Stafford. Those two are also awful defensively so Weber is almost a lock for a point tonight. I also like Matt Cullen – Mike Fisher – Patric Hornqvist as well. That line has been solid lately, and again, Buffalo is terrible. Carter Hutton is my #1 goaltender tonight, with Martin Brodeur a close second (but only because of price relief)
Vancouver Canucks @ Colorado Avalanche
This game will be great for GPP’s. It’s tough to play Colorado in cash games since you never really know which line will go off, but I am running two separate Colorado Stacks tonight: Matt Duchene – Ryan O’Reilly – Nathan MacKinnon – Tyson Barrie and in another GPP i have Gabriel Landeskog – Jamie McGinn – Paul Stastny – Erik Johnson
I’d fade the Canucks tonight.
