Marlins $8,300 MIA has the majors’ worst offense vs. righties
SP – Jeremy Hellickson White Sox $9,000  CWS rank 29th in wRC+ vs. lefties

Jacob Turner (R) $3,900 Can never go wrong w/ Yadi, especially at this price
1B – Adrian Gonzalez
Matt Cain (R) $3,900 .880 OPS vs. righties, 11 of 12 homers
2B – Rickie Weeks
Zack Wheeler (R) $4,000 See below
3B – Matt Carpenter  Turner  $4,100  .913 OPS vs. righties
SS – J.J. Hardy
Ivan Nova (R)  $4,100 Nova gives up lots of home runs; Hardy hits lots of home runs for an SS
OF – Carlos Gomez
Wheeler $4,400 1.021 OPS at home
OF – Matt Kemp
Cain $4,100 Heating up – homers in back-to-back games
OF – Norichika Aoki
 Wheeler $4,200 See below

I tried to stack Milwaukee hitters against Wheeler as he hasn’t done very well in his few starts. Weeks struggles against righties overall, but his numbers against righty starters are pretty good. He also crushes at home and was a cheap option for me. Aoki hits lefties better, but he still gets on base at a good clip against righties and was pretty much the best option, at $4,200, as I rounded out my roster.

Toronto faces Kevin Correia today so if you want to load up on Blue Jays, go ahead. … Nova gives up a lot of home runs at home and has a career 4.84 ERA at Yankee Stadium so going with a lot of Orioles would be wise, too. … Andrew Cashner ($5,300) starts against Washington, which ranks just 23rd in wRC+ against righties.

Thursday Recap

In his first game back from the DL Wilson Ramos hit a home run and collected five RBI in Washington’s 8-5 win over Milwaukee. Ramos is just 25 and had a great 2011 when he hit 15 homers in just 389 at-bats. He’s owned in well under 5 percent of leagues at ESPN and Yahoo! so if you’re struggling at catcher Ramos could be a good answer.

Dillon Gee had another good start. I’ll let The Fix’s Brett Talley fill you in on him:

Cole Hamels had his best start in a month: 7 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 8 K. I’d try to buy wherever possible.

Jose Quintana struck out 11 Orioles in just seven innings. … Eric Hosmer hit another homer – his sixth in his last nine games. … Logan Morrison walked three times and doubled against Atlanta. He’s reached base in 15 of 16 starts and has a .418 OBP and .569 SLG since June 9.
