Fresh off his honeymoon, Chris Summers sees clearly now. Here are his top 10 “unlikely to come true” predictions for the 2nd half of the baseball season. The great thing about predictions is that even if you get just one right, you can brag about it for years after. We want to hear your predictions too, so leave one (or even 10) below.


1.  Jose Bautista or Roy Halladay wins the batting or pitching triple crown, respectively.
 
2.  Matt Kemp lead the National League in Home Runs AND Stolen Bases
 
3.  Ichiro Suzuki (.270) ends the season batting .310
 
4.  Brian Wilson gets called for a balk when a baseball falls out of his beard.
 
5.  Lance Berkman (24 Home Runs) finishes with less than 30 Home Runs.
 
6.  Michael Pineda becomes the first rookie pitcher since Tom Browing in 1985 to win 20 games.
 
7.  The last place team in each division finishes with 100 or more losses.
 
8.  Frank McCourt gets caught pulling a Dirk Diggler in a parking lot in an attempt to make money to pay off his debts.
 
9.  The Phillies finish the season with three pitchers winning 20 games.
 
10.  Anthony Rizzo finishes the season with his batting average above the Mendoza line.
