2011 MLB Fantasy Baseball Update Wednesday 5/18: More rain, More delays.

Picture

The bad weather continues this week and threatens more postponed games. Already this season we've had 30 games postponed as compared to 8 last last year to this point.

Possible rainouts today are Yankees @ Baltimore, Colorado @Philadelphia, Washington @Mets, Detroit @Boston, Texas @Kansas City and Pittsburgh @Cincinnati. Games in the Northeast are more probable to just be postponed while the other games listed will have a better chance to at least get the games underway. Toronto is supposed to see rain tonight as well but luckily Rogers Centre has a roof.

For those playing in Daily Fantasy Games, this can be a nightmare and its of the utmost importance to either stay clear of players on the above mentioned teams or to check the weather details right before the games start.

Thankfully for head to head leagues, these rain delays are coming earlier in the week and will give ample time to make waiver wire pickups for spot starters.
