2012 Fantasy Football, Week 10 Tight End Rankings: Gronk, Graham, Gonzo
1) ROB GRONKOWSKI (BUFF)- Fantasy football's number #1 TE returns this week after a bye to take on the Bills who he has had great success against in the past. In week four he went off for 100+ yards and a TD. In five meetings, he has 27 receptions for 418 yards averaging 83.6 yards per game. He also has eight touchdowns in those four games. He has a hip issue so check the injury status Sunday before game time.
2) JIMMY GRAHAM (ATL)- The Saints will be primed to knock off an undefeated Falcon squad at home this week as they feature the team's number one target on offense. Graham hauled in 11 catches for 126 yards and two scores in the team's two meetings last season.
3) TONY GONZALEZ (@NO)- Gonzo ranks number three this week based on his matchup against the swiss cheese Saints defense. His production has been down since his torrid start but I like his chances this week in a shoot out.
4) JASON WITTEN (@PHIL)- Witten has faced Philadelphia 17 times in his career and has averaged 63.4 yards receiving and scored seven touchdowns. The Eagles have only surrendered 12 TDs though the air.
5) VERNON DAVIS (STL)- You read it here first as I proclaim this is the week Davis comes out of his funk with a touchdown and 75+ yards receiving. In two games against the division foe a year ago Davis gained 150 yards on 13 catches.
6) ANTONIO GATES (@TBAY)- The Chargers fly across the country to take on the Bucs in Tampa. Antonio scored last week and is starting to look a bit like his old self once again. Roll with him here in a projected high scoring affair.
7) OWEN DANIELS ( @CHI)- Daniels is red hot as he has scored in five out of his last six contests. This week he draws a tough Bear defense that will most likely take away the Texan wideouts leaving Owen to roam the middle in one on one against a line backer. He is listed on the injury report so make sure you keep an eye on the Sunday updates.
8) AARON HERNANDEZ (BUFF)- Hernandez is still questionable to play after having the last couple weeks to heal a bad ankle. If he plays he is a top 10 TE1 this week.
9) JERMAINE GRESHAM (NYG)- Gresh comes off his first 100 yard performance of the year against the Broncos last week. I expect the points to be a plenty in this game so I like his chances for a decent game here.
10) HEATH MILLER (KC)- Miller continues to be a top target for Roethlisberger in the passing game although he failed to catch a touchdown for the first time in three games last week in NY. Love the matchup this week against a porous Chiefs defense.
11) GREG OLSEN (DEN)- The Broncos are allowing the third-most Fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season. Only the Redskins and Titans have allowed more touchdowns to the position.
12) SCOTT CHANDLER (@NE)- Chandler had four catches for 62 yards and two touchdowns against New England in Week 4. I expect points galore in this game so plug him in and cross your fingers.
13) BRANDON PETTIGREW
14) MARTELLUS BENNETT
15) BRENT CELEK
16) BRANDON MYERS
17) JARED COOK
18) DWAYNE ALLEN
19) DUSTIN KELLER
