Fantasy Football 2011 Tight End Rankings Week 4: Jermichael Finley Ready To Rock Denver
2) ROB GRONKOWSKI (@OAK #28 ranked D)- Gronkowski has five straight regular season games with a TD and is Tom Brady's favorite red zone target. Continue to ride the hot hand as he faces the Raiders on Sunday.
3) JIMMY GRAHAM (@ JAX #7 ranked D)- Graham had a big week last week catching four balls for 100 yards and a TD. He now has scored six times in his last six games. I expect another good week here against the Jaguars who are giving up double digit points to TE's this year.
4) VERNON DAVIS (@ PHIL #8 ranked D)- Vernon's little discussion with head coach Jim Harbaugh paid off last week as he caught eight balls for 114 yards against the Bengals. Davis remains Alex Smith's number one target and should see plenty of looks against Philly who will shut down the SF receivers leaving the middle open for him to roam.
5) GREG OLSEN (@CHI #26 ranked D)- As predicted here last week Olsen finally broke the end zone and picked up his first TD of the year. Olsen should be ramped up to face his former team after leaving the Bears this year to join the Panthers. Chicago struggled last week to cover Jermichael Finley and I am expecting the same this week with Olsen.
6) JASON WITTEN (DET #4 ranked D)- Witten still managed six catches against a Redskin defense designed to stop him on Monday night. The Lions have only allowed one TD to an opposing TE this year so this may be another tough outing for him.
7) OWEN DANIELS (PIT #1 ranked D)- Daniels was targeted nine times last week as he scored a TD and had 76 yards receiving against the Saints. This week's match up will be much tougher as he faces the number one defense against the pass in the NFL.
8) DUSTIN KELLER (@BAL #17 ranked D)- Keller remains one of Mark Sanchez's targets as he had a solid game against Oakland last week. I can see him being used frequently this week as a safety valve against a tough Raven pass rush.
9) TONY GONZALEZ (@SEA #10 RANKED D)- Gonzalez scored another TD last week and has become a viable target once again for Matt Ryan. He was second on the team with eight targets and remains a viable starter in many fantasy formats.
10) BRANDON PETTIGREW (@DET # 12 ranked D)- The Cowboys may be in for a let down after an emotional Monday win over the rival Redskin's. Last week Pettigrew went for 11 catches and 112 yards as the Lions were forced to throw down 20 points.. While I do not expect those numbers again. 50-75 yards and a TD could easily be in the cards.
11) KELLEN WINSLOW (IND #18 ranked D)- Call it a hunch but I believe this is the week Winslow starts to get back on track in the Buc's offense. Tampa Bay has too much talent on offense and a Monday night home game is a perfect time to break it out.
12) FRED DAVIS (@ STL #19 ranked D)- Davis struggled last week against the Cowboys and will look to rebound this week against the 0-3 Rams. He is still a viable option for Rex Grossman even with Chris Cooley lining up on the other side.
13) DALLAS CLARK
14) SCOTT CHANDLER
15) TODD HEAP
16) ANTHONY FASANO
17) BEN WATSON
18) JERMAINE GRESHAM
19) MARCEDES LEWIS
20) ED DICKSON
21) CHRIS COOLEY
22) JARED COOK
23) HEATH MILLER
24) EVAN MOORE
