New York Rangers @ Carolina Hurricanes: With the trade deadline passed and gone, it’s going to become even more important to pay attention to line combinations and usage. For example, tonight, the big question is: which New York Rangers line does Carolina Hurricanes Head Coach Kirk Muller send Jordan Staal‘s line out against? My hunch is that he sends them out against the Rick Nash line, but in the case that it is the Martin St. Louis line, I’m going to hedge my bets and get exposure to both Carolina lines. These guys include Alex Semin and Jeff Skinner

Pittsburgh @ Anaheim: The Penguins are in the midst of a very difficult west coast road trip. Sidney Crosby was pretty much owned by Joe Thornton last night, and it showed, as Crosby went minus-5. Tonight, I really like Ryan Getzlaf as a cash game play, so I can get some exposure to that top line for Anaheim. For the Penguins, Evgeni Malkin and James Neal are nice contrarian plays on sites where they aren’t too expensive. I also am looking at Cam Fowler and Hampus Lindholm tonight for the Ducks as cheap defensive plays. Both goalies from this game are too expensive, so I’m fading both Jonas Hiller and Marc-Andre Fleury

New York Islanders @ Calgary Flames: This game will be hard to predict because both of these teams are pretty awful. One thing is certain though, the John Tavares-less Islanders can’t score very well right now. I’m rolling out Joni Ortio tonight on sites where he is min-priced like Draft Kings. Unbelievably though, he’s still not in the player pool on Fan Duel. So on that site, I will be rolling with another goaltender. Joe Colbourne is a nice cheap option for the Flames. I’m mostly fading this game.

New Jersey Devils @ Detroit Red Wings: This game could go both ways, but there are some excellent diamond in the rough picks in this game. First, Eric Gelinas of the Devils, is an excellent play for only $4,200 on Fan Duel and $3,700 on Draft Kings. Also, Adam HenriqueRyan Clowe and Jaromir Jagr are nice targets as well. I’m not touching Detroit in this game because they are going against Cory Schneiderthough I’m not confident enough to play Schneider in cash games.

Buffalo @ Florida: Take Luongo and sprinkle in some Nick Bjugstad and Cody Hodgson and move on. GPP plays here are Tyler Myers and Christian Ehrhoff

My Lineup :

C Cody Hodgson 2.3 swap out
LW Jeff Skinner 3.2 swap out
RW Jaromir Jagr 2.9 swap out
D Cam Fowler 2.5 swap out
D Eric Gelinas 2.0 swap out
G Joni Ortio 5.2 swap out
UTIL Ryan Getzlaf 4.2 swap out
UTIL Adam Henrique 2.3 swap out
UTIL Martin St. Louis 3.4 swap out
