With the first round of the playoffs officially over, it’s time to recap all the action. The opening round was definitely loaded with action and surprises– including both the Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks being eliminated. Some teams have separated themselves from the pack, showing they are true contenders in the quest to bring home Lord Stanley, while other teams have some holes to fill if they want to get there. It was an excellent first round to say the least, so let’s take a look at each matchup that went down.
