What a busy day it was yesterday.

First, Steven Stamkos announced that he would be returning with the Tampa Bay Lightning, agree on an eight-year contract extension. Did he take a friendly discount to stay in Florida?

The Edmonton Oilers and New Jersey Devils got together to make a trade, sending Taylor Hall to the Devils in exchange for defenseman Adam Larsson. Did the Oilers pay too much for Larsson? Or was this the only way for Edmonton to make their blue line better?

Finally, the Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators swaps superstars, sending P.K. Subban to Nashville in exchange for Shea Weber. The trade shocked the hockey world, but was it the right decision?
