The fourth game of the Pinstripes young season, showcased the much-talked-about sophomore stud Ivan Nova vs the less-and-less talked about Scott Baker and the Twins. Six innings and 84 pitches later (50 for strikes) was plenty for Nova to earn his 2nd career win and first of the 2011 season.

The Yankees first “mini week” of the season had plenty of ups and downs and certainly some eye-opening moments. Considering the Bombers won two of three from the Tigers, I would say they are content with that result. The goal is always to get two of three in all series.
