Juan Uribe hit his second home run in past two days and is riding a six game hitting streak. Uribe is only owned in 28.4% of ESPN leagues but is eligible at three positions. If the hot streak continues, he can be a great flex addition.

Michael Pineda continues his rookie season dominance, holding the A’s to only five hits and zero runs. Pineda is now 3-1 with a 1.78 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. Congratulations to those who took the risk drafting a rookie, as it has definitely paid off thus far.

Jose Bautista’s hot bat continues, hitting a solo shot in the fifth against Jeremy Hellickson. Bautista was 3-3 with four runs and two walks, bumping his average up to .339. It’s clear that either Bautista is still on roids or just simply a changed man.

Jon Lester and the Sox outdueled Dan Haren, proving that Haren is actually hittable this year. Lester pitched six innings and gave up no runs, while Haren also pitched six but gave up four (2 ER).

Madison Bumgarner is quickly proving to be the bust of the year. Against Atlanta last night, he only lasted 2.2 innings and gave up four runs (3 ER). If the trend continues he could get a new nickname “The Mad Bum”.

Yovani Gallardo joined in the fun of destroying the Astros with a solo home run in the fourth. Milwaukee won 14-7.

The Indians are still on top of the AL Central with a 13-6 record, tied best in baseball with the Phillies and Rockies.

Chipper Jones has been playing with pain in his right knee for the past ten games. Not a big surprise from the 78-year old AARP member.

Ryan Madson earned the save last night for the Phillies in a 2-0 victory over the Padres. Jose Contreras had pitched five of the previous seven days, including a 26-pitch effort on Thursday and was given the night to rest by manager Charlie Manuel. Contreras is still the guy in Philadelphia and only owned in 72% of Yahoo! leagues.

Francisco Rodriguez (3), Mitchell Boggs (2), Ryan Madson (1), Jon Papelbon (5), Brandon League (5) and Craig Kimbrel (5) each earned saves yesterday.
