2012 Fantasy Basketball: Michael Redd & other daily hoops studs for Thursday 2/9

There’s only four games, but some of the best teams for fantasy basketball are included with Oklahoma City, Sacramento, and Golden State among the highest-scoring teams. So despite only eight teams playing, there are plenty of good fantasy options.

Here’s my picks, starting with some cheap guys:

Michael Redd: Looks like he’s finally making strides after last year’s injury as he has played 20 or more minutes in three straight games and scored in double figures in each of those games.

Aaron Afflalo: He looks like the beneficiary of Danilo Gallinari’s injury as he played 34 minutes last night. Only scored 11.5 fantasy points, but his shooting will improve against Golden State.

Daequan Cook: Still among the cheapest picks despite double digits in fantasy points in six straight games.

And now for the studs:

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook: It’s obvious, but these two have been scoring a ton of points on their road trip and I don’t see Sacramento slowing them down.

Andrew Bynum: Not much of a post presence for Boston to  slow him down.

Monte Ellis: Gotta ride his hot hand against OKC.
