2012 Fantasy Basketball: Quincy Pondexter & other daily hoops studs for Friday 2/10

Quite a few Friday freerolls out there today if you can find them. That means get a couple good cheap picks so you can load up on studs.

Here’s my picks, starting with the cheapies:

Quincy Pondexter: Out of nowhere, he played 36 minutes in his last game, double his minutes from any other game this season and had 22 fantasy points. He’s cheap, so take him and hope the Grizz give him another long look.

Steve Novak: If you took my advice and played him Wednesday, he paid off with 28 fantasy points. Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudamire are still out, so stick with Novak.

And the studs:

Dwight Howard: Particularly in the freerolls, you have to have Howard against Atlanta because Zaza Pachulia isn’t going to keep him from another 20-20 performance.

LeBron James: Like Howard, you have to have him in a freeroll against Washington’s defense.

Deron Williams: He had 41 against Detroit on Wednesday and I don’t think Brandon Knight has figured out how to guard him in the last two days.
