Here is a look at my mid season rookie award winners. Qualifications for batters were 100 AB’s and pitchers 10+ games pitched. Start the debate !

C- Wilin Rosario (Colorado) 14 HR’s in just 190 AB’s. Projects into a 40+ full season number.

1B- Jordan Pacheco (Colorado). I like Rizzo here but he doesnt qualify under my parameters. Pacheco hitting .302 in just under 200 AB's.

2B- Alexi Amarista (San Diego) Alexi got hot in his recent call up.  He is owned in 37% of ESPN leagues and is rising fast!

SS- Zack Cozart (Cincinnati) Zack has 9 HR’s and has played in 81 games for the Red’s.

3B- Will Middlebrooks (Boston) Will made Kevin Youkilis expendable with his early season hot start. He is a star in the making.

OF- Mike Trout (Los Angeles Angels) Trout has all the tools. His numbers are crazy .341 BA, 12 HR, 40 RBI, 57R and 26 SB’s.

OF- Bryce Harper (Washington) Harper has done well posting a .282 BA, 8 HR, 25 RBI and 10 SB season.

OF- Norichika Aoki (Milwaukee) Aoki is hitting .301 with 5 HR, 20 RBI’s and 11 SB’s in just 229 AB’s.

SP- Lance Lynn (St. Louis) Lance hit a minor bump in the road recently but he still shows a 11-4 record with 105 K's and a 3.41 ERA.

SP- Yu Darvish (Texas) Darvish sports a 10-5 record with 117 K’s and a 3.59 ERA. He is the real deal.

RP- Felix Dubront (Boston) Dubront has come out of nowhere to be a solid starter for the Bosox. He is 9-4 averaging a K an inning.

RP- Addison Reed (Chicago White Sox) Reed should have been the White Sox closer from day one. He is 13 out of 14 in save chances.

Best Rookie of the first half overall : Mike Trout
