1B-ANTHONY RIZZO-(CHICAGO CUBS)- Rizzo got the call yesterday by the Cubs and he will be inserted into the starting first basemen slot tonight in Chicago. This will be Rizzo's second stint in the N.L. after a brief call up last year for the Padres. The Cubs have been working with him to improve his numbers against left handed pitching who he struggled mightily against last year. So far this year at AAA Iowa he was hitting .343 with 23 home runs and 62 RBI's. The second time around is usually a charm (Mike Trout) and I expect Rizzo to make an immediate impact on your fantasy team so go grab him NOW !!

SP- CHRIS ARCHER (TAMPA BAY)- Archer made his MLB debut last week against the Nationals and Stephen Strasburg where he went six innings, stuck out seven and finished with a 1.50 E.R.A.. The 6"3" right hander who was once a top prospect in the Cubs organization sports  a mid 90's fastball and a very live arm. It looks like the Rays will keep him around for now where he will certainly be worth keep an eye on at the fantasy level.

SP- A.J. GRIFFIN (OAKLAND)- Oakland called the youngster up last Sunday as he made his MLB debut against the Giants. The 6' 5" righty held the Giants in check allowing only three hits in six innings. Griffin is one of the A's top pitching prospects and is said to be a very "smart" pitcher as he has ascended quickly through the minor league ranks. For now he will occupy Brandon McCarthy's spot in the rotation and will get tested on Friday as he faces Texas. I recommend keeping an eye on this young prospect.

C- DEREK NORRIS (OAKLAND)- The A's catcher of the future has arrived and has done fairly well in his first three games as he owns a .250 BA, one HR and four RBI's. Derek owns a career .252 minor league batting average and has some pop in his bat. With regular starting catcher Kurt Sukuzi having done virtually nothingthis year in 200+ AB's the time is now for the A's to see what Norris can do. Keep an eye on this guy especially in American League only leagues.

1B/OF- TYLER MOORE (WASHINGTON)- Moore has been productive in his 21 games for the Nats this year. He is currently hitting .310 with two home runs, five RBI's and three stolen bases. Tyler has hit 30+ home runs in each of the last two years in the minors an is a budding star. For now he spells Adam LaRoche at first base as well as spot duty in the outfield. How much more playing time he gets will be determined by the Nationals needs and his production. Moore is worth keeping an eye on in N.L. leagues only at this time.
