Matt Hasselbeck (QB | Tennessee Titans | seven percent owned in Y!) The Titans face the Bills in week seven, the fifth most generous defense to opposing fantasy quarterbacks. The Bills have surrendered about 25 fantasy points per game to Mark Sanchez, Matt Cassel, Brandon Weeden, Tom Brady, Alex Smith and Kevin Kolb. Aside from Brady, it’s safe to say this is a mediocre bunch at best. I don’t love Hasselbeck, but he does have some youthful receivers on the rise and this is a bye week.

Montario Hardesty ( RB | Cleveland Browns | four percent owned in Y!) It appears that Trent Richardson owners can rest easy — for now — as he is just day-to-day with a rib injury, but I wouldn’t wait much longer to add Hardesty as an insurance policy. In week six, Hardesty rushed the ball 15 times for 56 yards and a score. I wouldn’t be burning a high waiver claim on him, but he should be on the radar.

Daryl Richardson ( RB | St. Louis Rams | 14 percent owned in Y!) The seventh round pick from Abilene Christian seems to be chipping away at Steven Jackson’s touches in St. Louis. Richardson was on the field for 19 less plays than Jackson, but received just two less carries. And Richardson seemed to take full advantage of those opportunities, rushing 11 times for 76 yards (6.9 average yards per carry) while adding two receptions on three targets for an additional 23 yards (11.5 yards per reception). It’s time for Steven Jackson owners to add Richardson or those who want to be the thorn in the Jackson owner’s side to consider the add as well.

Felix Jones (RB | Dallas Cowboys | 25 percent owned in Y!) DeMarco Murray has officially been ruled out for Dallas’ week seven contest against the Carolina Panthers — the league’s second most generous defense to opposing team’s running backs. Jones is coming off a fine game in which he rushed the ball 18 times for 91 yards and a score — an average of 5.1 yards per carry. Phillip Tanner — also a fine waiver wire grab in the deepest of leagues — may steal a few carries, but this matchup has Felix Jones’ name written all over it. WIthout an exact timetable for Murray’s return, it’s hard to suggest burning a number one claim on Jones. However, if you’re a Murray owner — or just desperate for a ball carrier — I could see buring the top claim or about 30-40 percent of your FAAB. More on Carolina: The Panthers are yielding more than 120 yards per game on the ground and have surrendered more than ten fantasy points to the likes of Doug Martin, Darren Sproles, Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingram, Andre Brown and Michael Turner.

Donnie Avery ( WR | Indianapolis Colts | five percent owned in Y!) Andrew Luck couldn’t keep his eyes off of Donnie Avery on Sunday, throwing his way a team-high 12 times. However, Avery was only able to reel in four of those 12 targets for 60 yards — with a long of 24. Based on targets, Avery is the clear number two pass catcher to own in Indianapolis. And if Luck continues to air it out like he has in the first six weeks — 225 attempts, good enough for ninth most in the NFL — Avery will eventually put up some big numbers. Add him now and avoid missing out.

Mike Williams (WR | Tampa Bay Buccaneers| 67 percent owned in Y!) Yes, the next two guys are likely to be owned in deeper leagues, but if somehow they’re still available, you need to pounce. Williams caught four-of-five targets for 113 yards and hit pay dirt once. The Bucs face a Saints team in week seven who are giving up the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. With six teams on a bye, Williams easily makes for a WR3 or FLEX option.

Denarious Moore (WR | Oakland Raiders | 71 percent owned Y!) Many had high hopes for Moore heading into twenty-twelve and he now appears primed for you lineups. Each week Moore has played, he’s received at least eight looks from Carson Palmer. Last week, Moore hauled in five passes on nine targets for 104 yards and a score. I really like Moore going forward, so if he so happens to be available in your league, go ahead and snag him.

Dallas (D/ST | 21 percent owned Y!) The Cowboys get the Panthers in week seven. Not sure we need anymore justification than that.
